About
The main areas of focus in designing the vehicle was applying as much knowledge and expertise in creating a custom engine and an aerodynamic body.
Engine
The engine is almost completely custom designed from the ground up in order to be efficient with little compromises. For more information on the engine you can read the engine page.
Body
The body and structural frame is a custom designed carbon fiber composite monocoque shell. This allows weight savings by negating the requirement for a heavy internal structure to support the engine and driver. Read more about it.
Aerodynamics
The aerodynamics of the vehicle were developped with the help of computation fluid dynamics. This allowed us to model the shape of the vehicle and optimize it to minimize areas of high drag. Read more about our efforts to minimize drag.
